Scholarships Chair, 2012
The 2012 Scholarship Committee will begin soliciting requests of potential Scholarship recipients in March. Each year, GMDM awards local college students with funds for furthering their studies in the areas of Dentistry and Medical Services. Over $35,000 has been awarded to recipients over the years. Any GMDM members interested in serving on this committee are encouraged to contact Lisa.

2011 GMDM Scholarship Recipients
A total of $3000 was awarded to the above three recipients at the August Membership luncheon. Each received $1000.

Robert Stallings is a student in the Healthcare Management Technology program at GTCC. He is employed at Cone Health as a System Analyst II. He is married with children ages 18, 15, and 9, and is also a legal gurardian to a 15 year old nephew. He carries a GPA of 3.9.

Matt Hill is a student in the Management Technology Program at GTCC. He is a Greensboro resident. He carries a 3.6 GPA.

Alicia Matthews is a student in the Medical Office Administration Program at GTCC. She has two boys, ages 17 and 5. Alicia carries a GPA of 4.0.
